I heard a great sermon by Charles Stanley today, called "Advancing in Faith".
Building faith brings a "Test" Below are things that pastor Stanley stated that you should do in order to grow your faith.
- Meditate on the word of God (The bible is fuel for our faith)
- Apply principles of God's word
- Observe the ways of God (God uses suffering to strengthen our faith)
- Observe God's work in other people's life
- Obey God and leave all the consequences to him (Do what he says and believe that god will work it out for your good)
- Answered Prayers (Pray with expectations & confidence-you can do anything that God has called you to do)
- Worship
- Confess faith failures (God will not cut you off because you fail-God is a forgiving God)
